World Language Immersion

Carter Lake is now accepting on-base waiver requests for the World Language Immersion program for incoming Kindergarten students pending space in the program. Parents must complete an In-District Transfer/Waiver acceptance form; transportation is not provided. Hillside and Four Heroes are not accepting waivers into the dual language program at this time.

The CPSD World Language Immersion Program aims to foster a vibrant, multicultural learning environment where students from both Spanish and English-speaking backgrounds can achieve bilingual proficiency and cultural appreciation. For the 2025-26 school year, CPSD will offer this program to incoming kindergarten students residing on JBLM who will be attending the following schools and locations:
