Our District

Creating Promising Futures

Our mission is to ensure each child learns what they need to know to contribute to the community.

Clover Park School District serves more than 12,000 students in southwest Pierce County, Washington, including about 4,000 students in military families. CPSD has received the Washington State Purple Star Award, which recognizes school districts that address the specific needs of military-connected students and families.

We are the fourth largest school district in Pierce County, covering 68 square miles, including Lakewood and Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

CPSD operates 23 schools, including two comprehensive high schools, three middle schools and 16 elementary schools. We also offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at a K-5 elementary and 6th-12th grade International Baccalaureate (IB) school, as well as alternative learning environments to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Working in partnership with our families, staff and community, we are creating promising futures.
