Strategic Plan

The district strategic plan spans five years and closely describes the district’s work related to teaching and learning. This plan has been developed with the input of staff through district literacy, math and instructional strategy committees and serves as a framework for the development of each school’s annual action plan.

Overview of the District Strategic Plan 2023-28

Goals

  1. Prepare all students for college and career readiness by increasing academic achievement and closing the gaps in achievement and college readiness.
  2. (English Language Arts; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math; College and Career Readiness)
  3. Increase engagement and communication with students and families to ensure equitable inclusion of all subgroups.
  4. Create a culture of supportive learning environments for students and staff.  

Objectives

  1. Within Professional Learning Communities Plus (PLC+) process, teams will utilize standards, instructional practices, and individual student growth to monitor and inform instruction and interventions.
  2. Staff will apply knowledge gained from professional development around the following: Systems and Structures, Instructional Design, and Tiered Support using a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework as it relates to Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Cultural Competence, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) standards.
  3. Create equitable and inclusive access to grade level instruction for each child.
