2026 CPSD Future Chefs Cooking Competition

CPSD students got cooking this March at the annual Future Chefs competition for elementary students across the district.
Students submitted their original recipes earlier in the school year, and 15 fourth and fifth graders were selected to compete. They arrived prepared to master their recipe and enjoyed experiencing a professional kitchen as they whipped up their culinary delights with the help of CPSD student nutrition staff at the Auxiliary Services Center.
A panel of judges evaluated the meals and awarded students top scores in the following categories:
Health-Conscious Food: Caroline Masseo's Farmland Soup
Kid-Friendly Preparation: James Nguyen's Stir-Fry Noodles
Best Table Presentation: Paislee Troyer's Pickle Pasta
Grand Prize: Delilah Perez's Baked Raspberry Cheesecake
