ParentSquare

ParentSquare for District Communication

Clover Park School District has launched ParentSquare for communication with CPSD families in an easy-to-use format. This fall, schools began using ParentSquare to send phone, email and text notifications to families using the contact information in Skyward Family Access. By February, schools will launch two-way communication with families through direct messaging.

Learn More About ParentSquare

ParentSquare allows families to communicate with their school in one simple platform. CPSD is launching the platform in two stages: 1) one-way communication this fall and 2) two-way direct messaging this winter.

ParentSquare capabilities include:

  • Receiving messages from school via email, phone, text or app notification
  • Choosing to receive information as it is sent from the school or all at once with a daily digest at 6 p.m.
  • Selecting language preferences to communicate in your preferred language
  • RSVPing for school events or signing up to volunteer

Once direct messaging is launched this winter, you will be able to participate in confidential messaging with your child’s teacher(s) or in group messaging.

How to Sign up for ParentSquare

Families have received an invitation email to activate their ParentSquare account. Follow these steps to activate your ParentSquare account:

  1. Open the invitation email or text and click Activate your account.
  2. Create a password for your ParentSquare account and click Register.
  3. Confirm your email or phone number and enter the verification code sent to you.
  4. Confirm your children and click Yes, This is Me.

If you are a parent and the school has your contact details, you can use your email or phone number to set up your account without the invitation.

To access ParentSquare, download the app or log into ParentSquare. You can set your communication and language preferences when you sign into the app.

It is important to note that you do not need to download the app to receive communication from your child’s school or reply to direct messaging.
