Vision Statement
- Communication – We will communicate to our families weekly through various media about student academic, social, and behavioral progress and what we have been doing in class throughout the week.
- Planning-We will plan rigorous lessons with intentionality using our established and agreed upon criteria.
- Professional Learning Communities-Our PLC’s will work on the four questions of a PLC at each session with an attitude of Continuous Improvement.
- Accountability-We will be accountable to one another through our participation in meetings, PLC’s and while we are teaching. We will be accountable to our parents through the learning of our shared students everyday.

With our success in Reading, we will strive for more growth their and shift our focus to improving Math learning for our students through training in Cognitive Guided Instruction training in Math. We are looking forward to inviting our families back into the building and growing a cadre of volunteers to help students in the classroom. This will lead Tillicum to be welcome space for students and their families.

Tillicum Elementary school will continue to focus on improving Reading and Math outcomes for our students. Instructional strategies will align with the Danielson Framework to ensure quality instruction in classrooms. In addition, Tillicum continues to utilize a multi-tier system of support to identify students who need intervention in Math or Reading. Lastly, Tillicum Elementary identified attendance as an area for growth and will strive to improve students consistently attending.
