Non-profit made up of good samaritans helping others in need in Pierce County. Assistance includes yard work, minor car repair and other help needed to help single mothers, elderly & people in need maintain self- sufficiency.



Pierce County Home Repair Program

Provides minor home repairs to income eligible populations in the form of a grant. Must have income below 80% Area

Enables low-income families to reduce their energy costs by increasing the energy efficiency of their homes.

Paint Tacoma-Pierce Beautiful

Organizes volunteer crews each summer to paint the exteriors of homes of low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners within Tacoma city limits. Specific eligibility criteria may apply.

NW Furniture Bank

Provides donated furniture to families that have come out of homelessness, domestic violence, or are low-income. Fees (per mattress) apply and referral must be done through approved case managers/counselors. See if school counselor or district Liaison can make referrals.
