Three CPSD employees were honored as Employees of the Year during a ceremony at Clover Park High School on May 12.

Each year, CPSD honors exemplary employees in three categories: certificated, classified and administrative. Award recipients are chosen by an independent panel of Lakewood community members.

"These nominees are a reflection of the outstanding staff we have throughout the district," said Superintendent Ron Banner. "The caliber of nominees this year was outstanding, which made the job of the judges even that much harder. Each employee promotes excellence as evidenced by their performance, example and contributions to our great school district."

Classified: Terese High, administrative secretary, Elementary Education
Administrative: Calen Bristow, assistant principal, Lakeview Hope Academy
