Help for Homeless Veterans US Dept of Veteran Affairs

Toll free hotline, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to connect with the National Center for Homeless Veterans, Provides services to find safe, secure housing for homeless veterans and their families. Online chat also available.

Army Community Services

Provides support services to Active Duty, Active duty Family members and Retired veterans. ACS programs and services: financial readiness services, Army Emergency Relief, family team building classes, New Parent Support Program, special needs family members services, military spouse employment resources, relocation readiness, mobility and deployment, domestic violence and sexual assault assistance, problem-solving assistance, and Survivor Outreach Services.

Pierce County Veterans Program

With guidance from the Veterans Advisory Board, Pierce County Veterans Program administers the Veterans Assistance Fund and Veteran Resource Center to provide services to help veterans and their families improve their wellbeing.

Pierce County Veterans Resource Center Provides services to all veterans who reside in Pierce County and their families to apply for veterans benefits, housing, employment, financial security, and behavioral health.

Madigan Army Medical

Offers comprehensive behavioral health services to all Service Members and their families. These services can be engaged through your primary care manager or, for Service Members, through your unit’s Embedded Behavioral Health clinic.

Military & Family Life Counselors

Provides school-based services for active duty and recently separated military students and families. MFLC’s provide short-term, non-medical problem solving counseling and support to assist children and youth, parents, family members and school staff.

MFLC’s currently support a number of schools according to their military population. For info on how to access services contact your school’s counseling office.
