District Improvement Plan 2023-28
Goal 1
Prepare all students for college and career readiness by increasing
academic achievement and closing the gaps in achievement and college readiness.
(English Language Arts; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math; College and Career Readiness)
Objectives:
- Within Professional Learning Communities Plus (PLC+) process, teams will utilize standards, instructional practices,
and individual student growth to monitor and inform instruction and interventions.
- Staff will apply knowledge gained from professional development around the following: Systems and Structures,
Instructional Design, and Tiered Support using a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework as it relates to academic
standards and learning and Cultural Competence, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) standards and instruction.
- Create equitable and inclusive access to grade level instruction for each child.
Goal 2
Increase engagement and communication with students and
families to ensure equitable inclusion of all subgroups.
Objectives:
- Within Professional Learning Communities Plus (PLC+) process, teams will utilize standards, instructional practices,
and individual student growth to monitor each student’s growth to inform instruction and interventions.
- Staff will apply knowledge gained from professional development around the following: Systems and Structures,
Instructional Design, and Tiered Support using a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework as it relates to Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Cultural Competence, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) standards.
- Create equitable and inclusive access to grade level instruction for each child.
Goal 3
Create a culture of supportive learning environments for students and staff.
Objectives:
- Within Professional Learning Communities Plus (PLC+) process, teams will utilize standards, instructional
practices, and individual student growth to monitor and inform instruction and interventions.
- Staff will apply knowledge gained from professional development around the following: Systems and Structures,
Instructional Design, and Tiered Support using a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework as it relates to Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Cultural Competence, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (CCDEI) standards.
