Military Families

Welcome to Clover Park School District (CPSD)! We proudly serve students pre-K through 12th grade living on Joint Base Lewis-McChord and in the city of Lakewood. CPSD operates six elementary schools on base, and nearly a third of our students are military dependents.

Relocating to a new base and starting a new school can be stressful. Our goal is to support your family in smoothly transitioning to a new school.

Month of the Military Child

Each April we celebrate the Month of the Military Child and our military-connected children and youth. This year’s theme is “Military Children and Youth: Standing Strong and Proud."

Show your support for our military-connected students by wearing purple, engaging in fun, celebratory activities, expressing your experience with others and sharing encouraging messages.

Purple Up! at CPSD Schools

April 15 - Wear purple and check with your school for activities!

JBLM Events and Activities

From scavenger hunts and game nights to Facebook prompts and essay competitions, JBLM has plenty of activities for our military students to participate in this month! Please visit the JBLM website to find fun activities your family can participate in to celebrate Month of the Military Child.
