Publications Department

The district Printing and Publications department is a full-service operation that strives to provide quality service at a reasonable cost. We provide district-wide copy services that includes graphic design, page layout, bindery facilities and digital and offset printing.

The publications department also provides printing services for personal needs.

The department has a wide-format color printer for your special printing needs. This can be used for large color graphs, posters, banners or even pictures. We have a variety of paper which includes gloss and an outside vinyl paper.

Interpreters (Language Access)

Community Relations contracts with agencies to provide interpreters needed for parent meetings and conferences, but not for student instruction purposes. At times, sign language interpreters are provided as a student accommodation for hearing impaired students who do not receive special education services. District and state forms are also available in numerous languages. Call 253.583.5040.

Parent's Rights

Agencies and organizations often contact Community Relations to offer resources to students such as Thanksgiving baskets, clothing (at Christmas time) and similar items to schools.

Community Relations contacts schools to determine interest and level of participation.
