Clover Park School District is currently hiring alternate school bus drivers. The district offers a comprehensive training program. Upon completion of training, you will become a CDL-licensed driver and a valuable member of the Clover Park School District's Transportation Family.

Application and Interview Process

Follow these steps if you want to have the best position available in student education.

  1. Complete the application for substitute bus driver, which is available on our Web site by selecting 'Employment > Job Postings'.
  2. Applicant orientations are conducted regularly at the Auxiliary Service Center. Attendance and participation is highly encouraged. Please call 253.583.5494 for dates and times.
  3. Applicants interested in making a difference for students by pursuing a career in Transportation are interviewed for the next training class. Acceptance into the training program begins the start of your tasks. You will need to obtain your Commercial Drivers License Permit (CDLP) through the Department of Licensing by passing four written knowledge tests related to commercial vehicles, air brakes, passengers and school buses. You must also obtain your Medical Certification Card from a medical facility authorizing you to drive a commercial vehicle.
