Winter Help Sessions
Lakes will be offering Winter Help Sessions to provide extra support for our students in a variety of subject areas. Thre will be four sessions starting on Tuesday, December 10. For more information on the classes offered and schedule please .
Stephanie Killen, our math department head received her national Board Certification. National Board Certification is an advanced teaching credential. As part of this process, teachers must analyze their teaching context and students’ needs, submit videos of their teaching, and provide student work samples that demonstrate growth and achievement. We are proud of her achievement.

After School Enrichment
Our After school enrichment program is starting. We will be offering a variety of opportunities to help students succeed.
What: A variety of Academic Supports and Interventions for students looking to get ahead or catch up in their progress towards high school graduation and college success. Activity Busses are provided at 4:15.Offerings include tutoring, math & writing labs, credit retrielval, weight training, and a Lancer hangout
When: 2:30pm-4:00pm Mondays through Thursdays while school is in session. No program on early-release Wednesdays or on Holidays.

Lakes High School runs an activity bus Monday through Thursdays once school begins. Students must be in an adult supervised activity after school hours to obtain a bus pass. Students must have a bus pass to ride these busses home. Coaches and advisors will provide passes to students who are participating in their activities. More information about bus times will be posted soon.
Now is the time to Pre-order your yearbook. You may do so at the Student Accounts office. Purchasing your yearbook now will give you a significant savings over the cost in June.
