District community relations office receives national public relations award

Clover Park School District’s (CPSD) community relations department received a Golden Achievement Award from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) for its efforts in promoting the district’s new online payment system for student meals. NSPRA’s Golden Achievement Award recognizes exemplary work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing and engagement.

“This year, the online payment system for meals transferred from Mealtime online to Skyward Family Access to provide families with a ‘one-stop’ resource for student information,” said CPSD superintendent Debbie LeBeau. “The community relations department’s communication efforts in this transition helped families understand the need for and benefit of the change.”

CPSD's community relations and publications departments were also recognized with several state awards through the Washington School Public Relations Association.
