Clover Park High School's JROTC program receives Distinguished Unit with Merit Award

Clover Park High School’s Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (JROTC) received the 2015-16 Air Force JROTC Distinguished Unit with Merit Award. This award recognizes Air Force JROTC units that have performed above and beyond normal expectations and distinguished themselves through outstanding service to their school and community, while meeting the Air Force JROTC mission of producing better citizens for America.

"I am very proud of what our cadets have accomplished this year," said JROTC instructor Lt. Col. Gary Roberts. "They’ve provided more than 2,000 hours of community service and honor guards so far this school year. They’ve served our schools, various businesses and organizations in the Lakewood community and throughout the Puget Sound area."
