National Model
Paideia
The Paideia model is designed to prepare each student to earn a living, be a good citizen, and pursue life-long learning. Paideia expects high academic achievement from all students and believes that it is society's duty to provide them with the opportunity to learn. A fundamental belief is that universal, high quality education is essential to democracy. Teaching combines direct instruction with learning through projects. A highlight of this model is the use of the student seminar.
The National Paideia Center is housed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and serves more than 80 schools in 12 states.
In Clover Park School District, Paideia is used at Park Lodge Elementary School, and Lochburn and Woodbrook Middle Schools.

the most current assessment information. You can view assessment

This link takes you to the Puget Sound
Emergency Communication System (PSECS) network, which posts the
status of Clover Park School District schools. The
message, "No current messages for the requested school,"
will be posted if there are no alterations to the regular school
schedule.
Local television and radio stations also announce
the changes according to information they receive from school districts.
Listen for news about Clover Park School District. If you do not
hear Clover Park School District, assume that all of our schools
are open and operating on a regular schedule.
