Relations with Political Organizations
The board of directors may take positions on any ballot measure or ballot proposition directly affecting the operation of the schools but may not endorse any candidate for public office.
Political campaign materials or propaganda may not be posted in school facilities, except in lunchrooms and break rooms, which are used only by staff or other authorized individuals. Any distribution of political materials shall occur at a place and time, and in a manner, that will not substantially disrupt instruction or student/school activities. An exception to this policy is the case of authorized elections considered part of the educational process.
