Philosophy of Education

            "It is the paramount duty of the state to make ample provision for the education of all children residing within its borders, without distinction or preference on account of race, color, caste, or sex. . . ."

                                 Washington State Constitution Article IX, Section 1, Preamble

The Clover Park School District is dedicated to providing a high quality, relevant education for students in a safe, caring learning environment.

Students shall have the opportunity to study and learn in well-planned and equipped facilities, staffed by professionally trained teachers selected for their ability to impart their knowledge in technical, academic, and fine arts subjects. This staff, supplemented by specialists, shall identify exceptional students who need specialized assistance or an enriched program to develop their capabilities fully.
